Prooemium - Metamorphoses

Soo, that's German (very sorry..).
It was a task I did for Latin class: translate the introduction of Ovid's "Metamorphoses" and afterwards make a proper poem out of it. It's longer than the original, but has the same content: Ovid tells the reader that he wants so write about the history of mankind (and transformations, of course) and asks the gods for their help.
Text written in black ink with a fountain pen, flowers sketched with two kinds of pencils (2B, 4B) and coloured with watercolours.

Prooemium

In nova fert animus mutatas dicere formas
corpora; di, coeptis (nam vos mutastis et illas)
adspirate meis primaque ab origine mundi
ad mea perpetuum deducite tempora carmen!


A very verbatim translation of my poem (doesn't rhyme and is not artistic at all ):

Prooemium

Driven by the inner will
Which I undertake to fulfill
Words are flowing away from my mouth
That I write down and state.
Whispering gently of exeptional creatures
How they receive a new shape.
Gods, as you are giving these shells,
I beg you to send me your support.
Without it, I don’t want to dare this song
From the beginning of the world to my days.
So I put my word in your hands
Continue it from the beginning to the end.
